Warm Winter Wishes Card

Good evening everyone :-D

Yesterday I received the package with oh so beautiful Crafters Companion Bebunni Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Paper Pad and C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps 'Christmas With Ralphie'. :-D So much happiness. This was a prize of my choice for from Bunny Zoe´s Crafts, which I won as random winner at Cute Card Thursday. Thank you so much ladies. :-D

With my new paper and digital stamps I have, I made this Warm Winter Wishes Card last night.

For this one I was inspired by a current challenge on Meljen´s Designs - Patchwork. There is still time to play, if you like.

First I made a patchwork layer using 4 different designs from Bebunni Christmas Paper Pad. I made it as shown in video tutorial by Lawn Fawn, with a small change. I made it in Découpage technique. After the layer was dry, I had drawn stitches with black fine liner, as on other two layers.

I used two Meljen´s Designs digital stamps for this card, 'Bundled Little Snowboy' and 'Starry Holly'. I bought them this month, because there is a big sale at Meljen´s Designs. This was such a great opportunity to get all those cuties from wish list. :-D

I also used a cute little digi ticket stamp 'Warm Winter Wishes' by Kimberly M. Landmesser, The Beary Scrap.

All images are paper pieced. I used 4 images for snowman and 2 images for holly and ticket stamp. I took photos of snowman´s layers. It was pretty late when I was making this card, so I forgot to take photos of layers from other two images. :-D

I colored with colored pencils snowman´s nose, cheek, buttons (coal), hands (wood) and that tiny piece of mitten. I added some sparkles to white pieces of snowman´s outfit with silver sparkle pen. Other is patterned paper from Bebunni Christmas Paper Pad. Look at that lovely "sweater" pattern. It was perfect for snowman´s outfit. I also added transparent varnish  on images and some dimensional tape at the back of the ticket stamp. Here are some close up photos of the finished image.

Card dimensions are 13,3 cm x 13,3 cm (5 1/4" x 5 1/4").

Here is a list of materials and tools I used to make this card:

Flappy Birthday Card

Good evening everyone :-D

Today I made this card I called Flappy Birthday Card.

I used From the Heart Stamp 'Flappy Birthday Birdbrain' digital stamp. It includes 4 funny sentiments. This is Stamp of the month September 2014
Flappy Birthday Birdbrain

I decided to use the {heart} sketches  sketch080 with a twist for my card layout.

I used white card stock paper and three different patterns of digital paper to create this card.

I paper pieced an image. For this one I used 2 identical images. After printing on a white card stock paper, I colored one image, fussy cut it, colored edges with black fine liner and glued together pieces I had.

I also added some transparent varnish on eyelids, beak, belly dots and balloon to get glossy accents. Look how varnished pieces changed color. This is fun to me. I never know what the result will look like. :-D

I added three punched out scalloped circles on card front and one inside. I made them with my scalloped circle puncher.

I placed one layer of patterned paper inside of card and a layer of white card stock.

Card dimensions are 105 mm x 148 mm (4 1/8" x 5 7/8").

Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card:

I Like You... Card

Good evening everyone :-D

I would like to show you an I Like You... Card I made today.

I used From the Heart Stamps 'Birdbrain Needs Coffee' digital stamp. It also includes six sentiments.

I decided to paper piece this image. I printed out 3 identical images on a white card stock paper, colored the pieces I needed and cut them out. I was satisfied with the result, so I decided to make clean card design, with no patterned paper, embellishment or sentiment on front.

I added some transparent varnish on eyelids, beak, coffee in mug and coffee beans to get glossy accents.

I printed one of the sentiments on a white card stock paper and placed it inside of the card.

Card dimensions are 105 mm x 148 mm (4 1/8" x 5 7/8").

Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card:

Fancy Sunbonnet Winter Card

Hello everyone,

Today I would like to show you a Fancy Sunbonnet Winter Card I made last night, using a Bugaboo Digi 'Fancy sunbonnet winter 2'.

I used a sketch from Sketch N´ Dies by Tami Mayberry for my card layout. I really like this one and will sure use it again.

Sadly, this is last challenge on Sketch N´ Dies, but sure do visit, there are beautiful sketches and inspirational projects from Design Team Members.

I used white card stock paper and three different patterns of digital paper I have, to create this card.

I added white die-cuts (tree and butterflies) I had in my stash. I don´t have a die-cut machine, so I bought these a while ago.

I like a paper piecing technique, so I decided to do that with this image. I printed image 4 times on white card stock paper and once on patterned paper. After that I cut out all the elements and colored some pieces with my colored pencils (scarf, gloves, pocket, boots and  piece of dress where buttons are drawn). A lot of fussy cutting, just the way I like. I also colored edges on every piece with a black fine liner. Here are detailed photos of every layer, prepared to be pieced together.

I glued all pieces together, added some dimensional tape at the back of the image and placed it on the card. Here are some close up photos of the finished image.

Card dimensions are 14 cm x 14 cm (5 1/2" x 5 1/2").

Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card:

Let it Snow Card

Yesterday I made this Let it Snow Card, using my new adorable Meljen's Designs 'BundledLittle Snowboy' digital stamp and 'Let it Snow' digital Christmas Sentiment by Raindrop Echo Designs through Whimsy Stamps

Card dimensions are 12,7 cm x 12,7 cm (5" x 5")

I colored both, digital image and sentiment, with my colored pencils and white pencil (for blending).

I have this transparent varnish with extra gloss for a couple of years and I tried to use it on a backed polymer clay, wasn't successful. I tried to used it for the first time on colored stamp to get glossy accent on cheeks, nose (carrot), eyes and buttons (coal). It looks pretty good. :-D

I also made those little pearl dots with my pastel-white pearl maker.

Here is a closer look at the digi colored with my colored pencils. I hope you can see those glossy accents on snowman.

I printed this lovely blue Birds Snowflakes digital paper on white card stock. I glued white die-cuts above patterned paper and got this really cool winter look. Don't you think? :-D
