Season's Greetings Blue Card (Jane's Doodles DT Spotlight)

Hi everyone :o)

Today I want to share a card I made for my last week's spotlight over at Jane's Doodles, I just didn't have time to publish it here.

I made a simple Season's Greeting Blue Card, using two Jane's Doodles stamp sets: 'Winter Wishes' and 'Mr. & Mrs. Claus'.

I Heat Embossed sentiment and white snowflakes on a white watercoloring paper, colored whole panel with distress inks and created Ombré Effect, splattered whole panel with water, dried it, glued 3-D foam pads on it and placed it on a white cardstock base.

I glued few sequins on the panel and my card was finished. :o)

Card dimensions are 101 mm x 133 mm (4" x 5 1/4").

List of supplies:
  • Jane's Doodles 'Winter Wishes' stamp set
  • Jane's Doodles 'Mr. & Mrs. Claus' stamp set
  • white cardstock paper
  • Koh-i-noor Watercolor paper pad (250 gsm)

  1. I know you said you made a "simple" card, but I can see what a lot of work has gone into creating it Milka... it's not really simple at all. The embossed snowflakes are beautiful and I love the way you've done the blue ombre background with the spatters of water. I like the addition of the sequins too... they add a nice bit of sparkle. Great job!
    Cheers,
