Colorful Birthday Balloons Card (LMMS Challenge #159)

Hi everyone! :o)

It's time for a new challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps Challenge Blog. It's #159, Anything Goes Challenge.

For this challenge I made this CAS (clean and simple), Colorful Birthday Balloons Card. :o)

I made this card for my friend's son who will celebrate 3rd birthday next week. :o)

To make this card I used an adorable LMM's Forgotten Scraps 'Celebrate Balloons' rubber stamp. :o)

I stamped the image on a Kraft paper panel and colored it with colored pencils. I colored a shade around the image with a white pencil.

I glued the panel on a foam sheet rectangle and glued it on a top folded white card base. As a finishing touch I drew stitches and highlighted the shade with white gel pen.

Card dimensions: 98 mm x 130 mm (3 7/8" x 5 1/8")

List of supplies:
  • LMM's Forgotten Scraps 'Celebrate Balloons' rubber stamp
  • white cardstock paper
  • Crafter's Companion Neenah Desert Storm Kraft Coloring Card
  • Ranger Archival Ink, Jet Black
  • TOZ Artist Color colored pencils

    1. The perfect CAS card. I love the image and don't know how I couldn't have seen this one! And I LOVE how you used your white pencil around the image. I'm going to try this since I'm always hesitant about stamping on anything except white paper! This is awesome and thanks for the idea of the white pencil! Hugs, Gail
